  • Veteran Women's Enterprise Center 4900 South Lancaster Road Dallas, TX, 75216 United States (map)

The impact of a woman’s voice is determined by her willingness, readiness and ability to embrace and use the power of her voice!

Join the Veteran Women Business Owners United (VWBOU) at their final 3rd Wednesdays Winning Women series featuring an intimate discussion with Representatives Toni Rose and Victoria Neave as they share their personal and professional journey, finding their voice and leveraging their power. The discussion will move beyond their role of politician and give attendees the opportunity to meet each woman! The panel will also include insights from Elizabeth Walley, VP Voter Outreach with the League of Women Voters of Dallas

As we continue our journey for equity, finding our voice, embracing its power, and identifying the strategies necessary to use the power of our voice to achieve our goals will truly empower us to win at life, work and business!

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION ABOUT CURRENT POLITICS! THIS IS A DISCUSSION ABOUT HOW WOMEN HAVE AND CAN FIND THE POWER OF THEIR VOICE!

Join us at 11:00am for refreshments, speed networking, and member highlights. Our power panel begins promptly at high noon. Register now and share with your networks on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn.

Elizabeth Walley, VP Outreach, League of Women Voter Dallas

There are few forces that influence our lives as much as government. Sometimes the influence is overt, sometimes subtle, but the nature and quality of our government pervades nearly every aspect of daily life. Elizabeth Walley came to appreciate this during a career working for and in government - as an auditor, consultant and finally as a municipal finance director – and determined that after retirement she would dedicate time to doing what she could to make government work for us all. The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, turned out to be a good fit, offering Elizabeth the opportunity to do what she loves best, educate and engage people in voting, that most important aspect of citizenship. For the past several years Elizabeth has served as the Vice President of Voter Outreach for the League of Women Voters of Dallas, where she oversees voter registration, voter guide production and voter education. She lives with her husband and cats in Mesquite.
