The Dallas Strategic Growth (DSG) Accelerator Application open through June 12th

The DSG Accelerator is a continuation of the United Ways' Economic Inclusion for All-Small Business sponsored by Comerica Bank with an objective to drive economic growth by empowering and bolstering the foundation of small businesses, specifically focusing on those owned and operated by underrepresented groups.

The DSG Accelerator offers 10 full-day sessions over four months focused on developing a Strategic Growth Plan. The curriculum covers all elements of constructing a strategic plan focused on growth.

Participants will develop and/or update their business objectives beginning in July by reviewing the market and conducting an environmental scan, along with strategies for customer engagement.

August is devoted to pricing and business financials. In September, we dive into establishing SMART goals, KPIs, CSFs, and supporting technology.

The series will close out in October with the development of a sales strategy, review of marketing mechanics, and completion of a management assessment.

In addition, there are regularly scheduled half-day hands-on structured group co-working support sessions and one-on-one mentoring.

DSG is a weighted program, participants are expected to attend sessions regularly and actively participate in course activities. Complete all business development assignments and submit them when they are due.

All course requirements are scored and ultimately determine graduation, ability to pitch, and access to matching grant funds.

Program outcomes include participants’ development and approval of a written one-page Strategic Growth Plan and Pitch Deck to compete to share $10k in funding or $2.5k in matching grant funds.

The Purple Diamond Award, honors a qualified exceptional individual in recognition of her service to the community and to the Women's Symposium mission.

We recognize there are many women in leadership who work tirelessly to significantly and positively impact women's lives, and we honor them at the Women's Wealth Symposium!

Strengthening the lives of all women matters, and we acknowledge and honor the women who give selflessly to equip and empower women in advancing their financial health.

On March 8, 2025, collectively we embark on a mission designed to equip women with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to gain more financial confidence, overcome any challenges, and work towards greater financial independence.

The symposium offers a dynamic program of presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at equipping participants with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve financial independence.

Since 2021, the Women's Wealth Symposium has reached a worldwide audience by livestreaming the event globally. 2025 NLBT TOUR & OVERVIEW SESSIONS

The NLBT Cohort is designed to empower entrepreneur women associated with the military—whether veterans, active duty, or reservists—to successfully scale their businesses. This year, we’re excited to announce that the NLBT Cohort grant has doubled from $5,000 to $10,000, with two bi-monthly pitch events where fellows can access funding to implement their business transformation strategies.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must have served in the military in any capacity (proof of service required).

  • This program is specifically for business owners with established businesses that are already generating revenue.

Program Expectations: To be eligible, business owners must be committed to:

  1. Developing a Strategic Growth Plan for the 6-month program.

  2. Using the coworking space provided by the program, which includes a free dedicated desk.

  3. Attending weekly business development sessions at the VWEC and providing evaluations.

  4. Participating in regular one-on-one mentoring and offering feedback on those sessions.

  5. Engaging in bi-monthly Saturday B2B Development Sessions, with evaluations to track progress.

  6. Actively applying business development training to meet projected strategic growth goals.

  7. Focusing on increasing revenue and exploring workforce development opportunities during the program.

Exclusive Opportunities for Fellows:

  • The grant for fellows has increased to $10,000 in 2025;

  • 50% of the grant will be available during the program to implement approved transformation strategies.

  • The remaining funds will be awarded based on performance, following a weighted system and the outcome of the final pitch presentation.

  • Fellows will also receive support to complete SBA certifications and other relevant certifications for their business.

Program Outcomes: By the end of the program, fellows will have:

  • Updated or created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • A 3- to 5-year Strategic Growth Plan to ensure continued growth and sustainability.

2025 NLBT TOUR & OVERVIEW SESSIONS

To empower entrepreneur women associated with military (inclusive of veterans, active duty and reservists) to successsfully scale. This year’s NLBT Cohort grant has doubled from $5K to $10K, with two bi-monthly pitches to access funds to implement their business transformation strategies.

All potential fellows must have served in some capacity in the military and provide proof of the same.

This program is designed for business owners with an established business, currently generating revenues. Business Owners must be willing to:

  • Develop a Strategic Growth Plan for the 6-month program;

  • Actively utilize the coworking space provded via the program, which includes a free dedicated desk;

  • Attend weekly business development sessions onsite at the VWEC and provide an evaluation of the same;

  • Participate in regular one-on-one mentoring and evaluation of the same;

  • Participate in bi-monthly Saturday B2B Development Sessions and evaluation of the same;

  • Aggresively apply business development training to achieve projected strategic growth outcomes;

  • Focus on increased revenue generation and potential workforce development during the program;

Exclusive Opportunities :

Fellows grants have doubled, and in 2025 they can earn up to a total of $10,000.

  • Half of the grant will be available during the program to implement approved transformation strategies.

  • The final portion will be distributed upon completion of points earned based via the weighted system, and their program outcome pitch.

  • Fellow will be assistance with the completion of SBA and other certifications, where appropriate for their business.

  • OUTCOMES: Fellow will leave the program with updated/established SOPs; and a 3/5 year Strategic Growth Plan to sustain their continued growth.

2025 NLBT TOUR & OVERVIEW SESSIONS

The NLBT Cohort is designed to empower entrepreneur women associated with the military—whether veterans, active duty, or reservists—to successfully scale their businesses. This year, we’re excited to announce that the NLBT Cohort grant has doubled from $5,000 to $10,000, with two bi-monthly pitch events where fellows can access funding to implement their business transformation strategies.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must have served in the military in any capacity (proof of service required).

  • This program is specifically for business owners with established businesses that are already generating revenue.

Program Expectations: To be eligible, business owners must be committed to:

  1. Developing a Strategic Growth Plan for the 6-month program.

  2. Using the coworking space provided by the program, which includes a free dedicated desk.

  3. Attending weekly business development sessions at the VWEC and providing evaluations.

  4. Participating in regular one-on-one mentoring and offering feedback on those sessions.

  5. Engaging in bi-monthly Saturday B2B Development Sessions, with evaluations to track progress.

  6. Actively applying business development training to meet projected strategic growth goals.

  7. Focusing on increasing revenue and exploring workforce development opportunities during the program.

Exclusive Opportunities for Fellows:

  • The grant for fellows has increased to $10,000 in 2025;

  • 50% of the grant will be available during the program to implement approved transformation strategies.

  • The remaining funds will be awarded based on performance, following a weighted system and the outcome of the final pitch presentation.
