You are invited to join us at our First Annual National Women Business Week Conference - Driving DFW Business Performance: Navigating a Path to Success for Women Veteran Owned Businesses! Designed to engage women veteran owned businesses with the larger entrepreneur community to drive business performance across the DFW metroplex.

Keynote - Jessica Flynn - Jessica is the Founder & CEO of Red Sky, a strategic communications firm in Boise, Idaho. After working as a producer for television news stations across the country and leading global communications for an all-season destination resort, Jessica founded Red Sky in 2008 and has since grown the company from a start-up to Idaho’s largest strategic communications firm.

An Emmy award-winning journalist Honored as a CEO of Influence, Jessica is also a Boise Arts & History Commissioner, Women’s & Children’s Alliance board member, Boise Valley Economic Partnership board member and Honorary Commander of the Idaho Air National Guard Mission Support Group. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas.

Performance Pitch • 3:00PM

Pitch Candidate Application Process:

To apply to submit via email to forveteransbyveterans@gmail.com a one page business plan outlining how you plan to shift your business into high gear and make an impact in the DFW metroplex. Must include with your business plan email proof that you are a 51% woman owned business.

Candidates will be informed of their acceptance by Friday, October 11, 2019.

Four women owned businesses will be selected to make a five minute verbal presentation, followed by questions for a maximum three minutes from our judges. Our main pitch winner will be selected by our judges, and we will also have an audience choice award. Both will receives funds to fuel their business strategy!
