2020 Kick-Off - 3rd Wednesdays - Women Warriors Winning the Business Battle

We are kicking off 2020 with the theme “Building,” and revamping our 3rd Wednesdays programs to help women veteran owned businesses, military spouses and our surrounding business community apply successful scaling strategies to build:

  • Personal/Professional Confidence - Sign-up for on the spot pitch coaching

  • Business Credit & Access to Capital - Be selected to pitch your business

  • Business to Business Sales - Develop your ability to increase referrals and sales

This year’s 3rd Wednesdays theme is “Women Warriors Winning the Business Battle!” The program will continue to offer light refreshments beginning at 11AM.

The new agenda will include the following:

11:15AM - 11:30AM - Structured Speed Networking - An area will be set up for you to immediately join the action as members arrive and get connected.

11:30AM - 11:40AM - 30 Second Business Pitch - You cannot sell you business, if no one knows what you selling, now every month we will give you the opportunity to connect with a confidence or business coach to develop your pitch and then battle with your peers for the best presentation and a $60 Gift Card.

Caplan is a female empowerment author, speaker and confidence coach. As she climbed the corporate ladder for over 20 years, she learned that advancing meant tolerating discriminatoion in the workplace.  This drove Holly to write a book titled, “Surviving the Dick Clique: A Girl’s Guide to Surviving the Male Dominated Corporate World.”  Her most recent work related articles can be found in Fox Business, Inc, and Fast Company, CEO MOM and Cosmopolitan. Holly resides in Dallas, TX.

Shirley Staten is a certified life and business coach, specializing in sales and customer service. She’s passionate about working with individuals to help them achieve their personal goals as well as business owners to help them increase sales by leveraging customer service techniques. Her process includes helping clients create an executable strategic plan to help them achieve their business goals by focusing on key operational areas.

11:40AM - 12:00PM - 2 - Three-Minutes Business Pitch for a line of Business Credit - Each month two business owners will be selected to showcase their business and make a 3 minute pitch for a business line of credit.
