Our very own Holly Caplan is traveling the nation spreading the word “It’s time to break free!” Holly’s new eBook Six Tips To Go From Fear to Freedom is helping women across our nation—appearing on ABC Suncoast Channel 40 and as this month’s guest speaker at The Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA). As we celebrate Women’s History Month 2020, we are excited to have Holly as our Words of Wisdom Keynote.
A recent article in the New York Observer claimed that “fear is the new normal.” [1] Fear influences the choices we make. Yet making decisions motivated by fear is flawed, if not dangerous; it will never lead to the healthy, fulfilling lives we crave. In addition, an excerpt from Holly’s eBook outlines that according to Psychology Today, this is what happens if you don’t address your fears: 1) You won’t get the change needed in your life, 2) The more scared you are, the more scary things will seem, and. 3) Being continuously in fear mode can lead to hopelessness and depression.
