Our final half hour will be devoted to learning about current Dallas ISD Contract Opportunities and changes made to assist with submitting proposals.

Coffee & Contract Certification Program Details

We are excited to reopen the candidate selection process for Coffee & Contracts, to identify our final six candidates.

We have learned from our initial call and are have streamlined this process to ensure clarity of information and application ease.

1) Interested candidates must attend our Program Overview Session this Thursday;

2) Please review the program details below and ensure you qualify for certification;

3) Note you will two additional weeks to submit the required certification documents (see the link below)

After confirming you are eligible, the next step in the certification process is to gather the WBENC  documentation required .  You will be required to have a complete package submitted and reviewed by our judges, who will then contact you to schedule an interview.

If you are selected during the interview process, you will then need to complete the online WBENC Application. Afterwards, email Ms. Small, who will conduct a final review of the online application; and if everything is in order, make the online payment of the non-refundable fee to the Women Business Council for certification.

The annual fee for certification is based on the applicant’s gross revenue and this program does not support candidates with gross revenues above $250K.

For this program 70% of the candidates must be women veteran-owned businesses or military spouses, and proof of the same must be provided during the interview process. Approved documentation includes DD214, TVC Verification Letter, and any valid Military ID all corresponding with the ownership name presented on business credentials.

All final candidates will sign a VWEC Program Contract outlining the terms of the program.

If you have any additional questions, please present them at the Program Overview Session.
