Women Warriors Winning the Business Battle - Pitch Prep Bootcamp with Seda Goff

We are continually working to keep a focus on our 2020 “BUILIDING” theme by applying successful strategies to build:

- Personal/Professional Confidence

- Business Credit & Access to Capital

- Business to Business Sales

To this end, we are hosting our first summer Pitch Prep BootCamp presented by Seda Goff from PenFed. This three hour intensive, interactive training, will provide you a business workout that will strengthen your confidence to effectively pitch your business.

Due to the interactive nature of the training, participation is limited to a maximum of fifteen. If you attend, you will gain valuable insight on how to strengthen your personal/professional abilities to pitch your business through focused sessions related to 1) So What Do You Do, 2) Perfecting Your Problem Statement, 3) Selling Your Unique Solution, and 4) Designing a Winning Pitch Deck, as well as other critical topics that will continue to build your business capacity to successfully pitch B2B and to potential investors.

This month’s program will continue to be offered virtually via Zoom and our agenda will includes, but is not limited to:

Seda Goff, Director, PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program.

Prior to joining the PenFed Foundation, Seda served as Managing Director at Capitol Post, helping military veterans and their spouses think and act like entrepreneurs. Seda also served as the DC City Leader for Bunker Labs and continues to advise at Bunker Labs. Before that, she founded Lighthouse Global Business to guide international entrepreneurs and US-based start-ups looking to build or expand their businesses to new markets. Seda is an Adjunct Professor at American University’s Kogod School of Business, where she teaches Intro to Entrepreneurship and Business 1.0. She brings all of this experience to her leadership of VEIP, as well as the perspective of a female entrepreneur.

The PenFed Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program, is focused on bringing people & resources together from across the country to create an access to capital ecosystem, where military service is the most reliable pathway to successful entrepreneurship. Their program operates around three lines of operation: Education, Preparation and Investment. The Education is provided through pop-up labs, webinars and workshops focused on various aspects of entrepreneurship and access to capital. Preparation is provide through their educational resources as well, but primarily through their Master’s Program. These opportunities ensure the companies they engage are prepared to enhance their fundraising strategy. Finally, VEIP provides seed stage capital, access to other investment programs, and funder to equip veteran founders with the financing they need to succeed, through our Investment program.
