Managing Mondays

  • VIRTUAL United States (map)

It's Managing Monday, the day we focus on those women veteran owned businesses that support key management areas needed to support your business.

Below is a great short article on the value of building your external support team.

Strategies for Building a Stronger Support Team

“Although some entrepreneurs can succeed without building a support team, it usually takes much longer, with many failures experienced along the way. But the most successful entrepreneurs are the ones who build and trust a dedicated support team to help guide their decisions and perform the necessary actions that make success faster and easier.”

While many entrepreneurs have multiple skills and often due to limited funds and/or other reasons try to do everything themselves. Reviewing the quote from the article above, this perspective can set us up to experience several unnecessary failures and expenses.

Building a strong external support team is not an easily task, you must build trust, ensure competency, and negotiate fees: all of which can feel overwhelming and drive many entrepreneurs to simply work alone.

In 2021, our theme is Women Helping Women, one of the VWEC’s core values where “we proactively proclaim and act upon the fact that collectively, women have the power and the resources to create any change we desire!”

To the end, we challenge you as sisters in arms to change the way you do business with each other, intentionally working to do more B2B business, make more referrals, and seek out collaborative contract opportunities with other women entrepreneurs.

Let’s intentionally live our 2020 Women Veterans Day theme to connect, collaborate and celebrate each other through this entrepreneur journey, because there is nothing we cannot do when we do it together!

Post your Business Name, Contact Info, any Sales/2021 Promotions, and your Best Tip for this week.

Every Monday, we will give you a chance to build on your connections. We want you to share referrals and B2B success stories, so we all can build a stronger more viable network.

Just a reminder that we will feature a different industry concepts each day of the week:

  • Technology Tuesdays

  • Wellness Wednesdays

  • Trending Thursdays (Marketing)

  • Financial Fridays

We invite you to share any information related to your industry. Share your business, weekly tips, contract, and teaming opportunities. Please don't forget to share your challenges, we are here to help each other and want to learn from sisters in arms, who have conquered similar challenges.
