Monday Group Mentoring - NoonZoom - In honor of National Mentoring Month

  • NOONZOOM Dallas United States (map)

National Mentoring Month is an awareness campaign during the month of January supported by organizations and individuals with a focus on mentoring across our nation. Launched in 2002, the campaign strives to unify and expand the momentum of mentoring and highlight the impact of strong mentoring relationships, while raising awareness of the importance of mentoring initially for young people, but we believe is an important and valuable resource for all Americans.

VWEC is hosting Monday Group Mentoring Sessions throughout the month of January in honor of National Mentoring Month. Understanding that statistically 87% of mentors and mentees say that their mentoring relationships make them feel empowered, and assist them to develop a more prominent sense of confidence in themselves. (Source). More importantly, 63% of women have never had a formal mentor. (Source). We want to make sure entrepreneur women associated with the military have access to the resources they need to succeed. Group mentoring will open the door to exploring more individual opportunities to identify, and secure the right one-on-one mentoring relationship for your personal and professional development.
