The fuel that drives our economy and the very heart and soul of every main street community—small businesses, employing nearly half of all private sector workers, they make up 40 percent of our economy, and 99.9 percent of all American businesses.
For more than 60 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has celebrated National Small Business Week, acknowledging the outstanding contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. This year, National Small Business Week takes place April 28 - May 4, 2024.
During National Small Business Week, we come together to highlight and celebrate the innovation, brilliance, tenacity, and personal strength of every entrepreneur who is turning their vision of the American Dream into reality.
This year, VWEC is completely thrilled to share that our own sister-in-arms Tamiko Bailey, Bailey's Premier Services, LLC., Fort Worth, is the State of Texas 2024 State Small Business Person of the Year. We could not be more proud of the work Tamiko is doing with her company and in her community.
Another Sister Success Story, we all need to Salute and Share!
