Fuel Your Future – Only 4 days left! - Applications Extended for Dallas Strategic Growth (DSG) Accelerator through July 2nd
The DSG Accelerator is a continuation of the United Ways' Economic Inclusion for All-Small Business sponsored by Comerica Bank with an objective to drive economic growth by empowering and bolstering the foundation of small businesses, specifically focusing on those owned and operated by underrepresented groups.
This year, the VWEC anticipates expanding its network of banking partners to ensure that every graduate has access to a minimum $2,500 matching grant to support the implementation of their strategic growth plan.
The DSG Accelerator delivers 10 dynamic, full-day sessions over four months, guiding participants through the development of a results-driven Strategic Growth Plan.
From July through October, participants will engage in an intensive, hands-on curriculum that covers every essential element of business growth:
July: Refine your business objectives by conducting a comprehensive market analysis and environmental scan, while exploring new strategies for effective customer engagement.
August: Strengthen your financial foundation with pricing strategies and business financials tailored for scalable success.
September: Establish actionable SMART goals, define key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical success factors (CSFs), and identify the right technology to support sustainable growth.
October: Finalize your strategic plan with a compelling sales strategy, marketing mechanics that drive results, and a detailed management assessment to align your team and operations.
This accelerator is more than a curriculum—it’s a catalyst for transformation, equipping business leaders with the tools, insights, and confidence to grow boldly and sustainably.
In addition to the core curriculum, participants benefit from regularly scheduled half-day, hands-on co-working sessions and personalized one-on-one mentoring—designed to provide structured, actionable support throughout the program.
The DSG Accelerator is a rigorous, performance-based program. Participants are expected to attend sessions consistently, engage fully in all course activities, and complete all business development assignments by their designated deadlines.
All assignments and course requirements are evaluated and scored. These scores directly impact a participant’s eligibility for graduation, pitch opportunities, and access to matching grant funds.
