Small Talk with VR Small

What happens when the host becomes the guest?

In this special episode of Small Talk with VR Small, I step into the guest seat for Behind the Scenes, a personal conversation about the experiences, lessons and vision behind the work I do today.

From growing up an Army Brat and joining the Navy at 17, to corporate America, education, entrepreneurship and founding the Veteran Women’s Enterprise Center, my journey has never followed a straight line. But one lesson has become increasingly clear: nothing in the journey has to be wasted.

We also go deeper into the purpose behind Women Helping Women W.I.N.

W Building Generational Wealth
I Inspiring Disruptive Innovations
N Nurturing Networks that Work

These are more than themes for Small Talk. They represent conversations I believe women need to have about what we are building, what we are willing to challenge and how intentionally we invest in one another.

Small Talk isn’t about presenting success from the finish line. It’s about having candid conversations while we’re still building, learning, executing and evolving.

And consider this question:

What are you building, and who are you bringing with you?
