MONDAYS IN MOTIONS

 

Motivational Mondays

1st Monday of each month focuses on motivational representations that empower and inspire (Ignite Inspiration, Lessons from Leaders and Motivational Moments

Ignite Inspiration is focused on helping women veterans develop and make a personal spiritual connection

Lessons from Leaders’ ultimate goal is to form mentorship and sponsorship relationships that will aid in the enhancing the leadership skills of women veteran

Motivational Moments is about overcoming transitional challenges, which could include divorce, abuse, unemployment, homelessness or taking a promotion.


Meditation Mondays

2nd Monday of each month focuses on exposing participants to a variety of meditation strategies (Morning Mindfulness, Methods of Meditation-Finding Your Fit & Body & Soul Action Meditation)

Morning Mindfulness is focused on helping women Veterans start their day and week with a clear focused mind. 

Methods of Meditation-Finding Your Fit is designed to help each female find their preferred method of Meditation that will help them distress and focus on achieving their goals. 

Body & Soul Action Meditation will focus on Meditation Strategies that involve movement.


Moving Mondays

3rd Monday of each month focuses on strategies to get and keep women Veterans moving in a way that promotes good health and overall wellness (Morning Move, Fast Fitness, Seasonal Sports program)

Morning Move provides an early morning opportunity for women to get together and get moving in a safe supportive environment  

Fast Fitness is designed to illustrate how just a few minutes of focused exercise and energize your mind, body and soul.  Eventually, we will take this show on the road, dropping at various Veteran focused organization and engaging Veterans in these Fast Fitness Challenges for 10/15 minutes. 

Seasonal Sports programs this is an opportunity for women to get involved in a team sport, which sports that will be offered are still be examined based on space, equipment and coaches


4th Monday of each month focuses on strategies to balance nutritional strategies with healthy cost effective meal options and cooking demonstrations for seasonal hot and cold meal preparation

Breakfast First is focused on helping women veterans start their day and with a healthy meal. 

Lunch on the Run is designed to help each female identify nutritional lunch options that will enhance personal health and performance. 

Dine on a Dime will focus on healthy cost-effective quick meal prep dinner options for singles and families.
