Calling All Women Veterans! This Women Veterans Day 2020, Pitch Your Business!

As part of Women Veterans Day 2020: Virtual Celebration, the Veteran Women's Enterprise Center (VWEC) and Bunker Labs DFW are hosting a pitch competition for Women Veterans from across the State of Texas.

We know that Women Veterans have some amazing business concepts as well as outstanding businesses that are serving our communities and driving our national economy. Now is the time to let your light shine as we are committed to educating, validating, and commemorating women who have and are serving in our military! Therefore, whether you simply have a great concept or a multi-million company, we invite you to pitch your business!

Every military branch believes they have the best of the best; and in Texas, every City has its share of claims as the best place for women owned small businesses. During this Pitch Competition, the Women Veteran winners will claim bragging rights for their branch service and local city as well as $1000 for the First Place Winner and a $250 Audience Choice Award!

Friday, June 5, 2020, 6:30PM CST

We will hold mandatory virtual office hours for all those interested in pitching. This will be an informal way for the judges to get to know you better and assess where you are at in your entrepreneurial journey. This engagement is designed to be an encouraging and beneficial connection point for every Woman Veteran who is interested in entrepreneurship, regardless of whether they have taken formal steps on an idea and/or actually started your business. From these office hours, select entrepreneurs will be invited to the Women Veterans Day 2020 Business Pitch Competition.

You must register to receive details to attend the office hours!
