Wanda "Sistah Soldier" Petty - Chief Voice Officer - SHE VET, iNC.

Sistah Soldier is a creative anomaly and storyteller who transitioned from the Army. After a traumatic injury, she realized that she’s meant for more than serving in the military. She’s the CEO/President of SHE VET™ Media, and the host of SHE VET™ iNSPIRES television show for military women in transition, which airs on streaming television. Her divine mission is to iNSPIRE other anomalies to understand who they are, activate their strengths, and trust their intuition. She uses methodologies, strategies, and practices to help them fulfill their God-given visions and dreams.

Her extensive background in human resource management and media management allows her to use media, creative arts, and project management to highlight their work and promote their voice to the world while changing the trajectory of their career, financial future, and legacy.  Her mission in this lifetime is to help women align with their divine purpose.

 

VR Small, Founder/CEO, VWEC

VR Small, knows how to turn vision into reality. As the founder and chief executive officer, for the Veteran Women’s Enterprise Center (VWEC), a national initiative to empower entrepreneur women associated with the military to scale for success. VR is driving social, and economic change across our nation.

She testified for the original House Bill to make June 12, Women Veterans Day in Texas and participated in the Texas “I Am Not Invisible” Campaign. In 2020, she launched the first annual, statewide “Women Veterans: The Pitch” in celebration of Women Veterans Day, highlighting the innovations, and economic impact of current/potential women veteran entrepreneurs across the state of Texas.

VR is an active member of the Women Veteran Business Coalition, serves on the Advisory Committees for the 30th Congressional District Veteran and TWU’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs. Advisory Committees. She is a fellow of SMU’s Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity—Inclusive EconomyDallas Public Voices, and the Bush Institute Stand-to-Veteran Leadership Program. Featured in Dallas Innovates 2020: The Future 50 North Texans to watched, VR is SBA’s DFW District 2020 Veteran Small Business Advocate of the Year, a Women Veterans 2030 Commissioner, a Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Center for Women Veterans (CWV), 2021 Trailblazer “Women Veterans Leading the Way” a Dallas Business Journal 2021 Women in Business Honoree; featured in the Dallas Morning News, Veterans Day 2021 Special Veteran Edition, and on the cover of the Winter Issue of AVOW, a magazine by and for women veterans as well as selected as a 2022 Marquis Who’s Who in America®.

VR is a Navy Veteran, proud stepdaughter, and sister to U.S. Army Retired Vietnam & Iraq Veterans, respectively. Living her personal slogan “Changing the way we see the world and do business,” as a motivational speaker, moderator, educator, and resolute advocate for long lasting impactful change.
