INVESTING IN AMERICA WEBINAR

Did you know that over a trillion dollars will be invested into the US economy given the recent passage of federal investments including BIL, CHIPS, & IRA?

At the VWEC, we want to make sure business owners and leaders are aware of these amazing opportunities.  To this end, we have become a strategic partner of the Public Private Strategies Institute’s newest webinar series: Investing in America in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Minority Business Development Agency, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Investing in America Series will be held monthly, and will cover a range of topics:

  • Critical Information about the Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Capital Readiness Program Administered by the Minority Business Development Agency

  • How to utilize the Department of Commerce’s Job Quality Toolkit to help small and medium size employers understand the underlying value to ensuring every job is a high-quality job

  • Opportunities and timely resources for business owners on Main Street through the U.S. Small Business Administration and recent policy: The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, CHIPS & Science Act, The Inflation Reduction Act, & more!

Real resources for employers; like you, working to create good jobs in our communities.

Look for our email series Investing in America to mark your calendar for these monthly events.

Semiconductor Production and the CHIPS Act

The Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) and Science Act included more than $52 billion to position the United States as the global leader in chip and semiconductor manufacturing. This session will discuss how these investments have strengthened American supply chains, competitiveness, and opportunities for small business owners.

A recording will be available with subtitles within a few days after the event. For assistance with registration or other technical difficulties, please contact Claire Blanton at Claire@publicprivatestrategies.com.
